Twenty 20 Stats

Twenty 20 cricket, or T20 as it is commonly known, is the shortest and most explosive form of the game. At Cricketics it is our favorite form of the game too and we spend a lot of time watching all the major events! There are 5 major T20 tournaments alongside some international series and an international world cup. The IPL is the biggest and the best of the tournaments followed by Australias Big Bash. We cover each tournament in great depth sharing our knowledge of betting and our knowledge of T20 cricket with you.

We cover the main 5 leagues in depth with full tournament previews, historical stats, team stats, and the top players. We will also cover international events at the same depth. Where possible we will cover the smaller events like the Super Smash from Austalia and the T20 Abu Dhabi.

Major T20 Tournament Stats

This is covered in order of what is coming up next and where.

You can see each league’s stats below

Caribean Premier Leauge – Ongoing

The CPL, as it is usually known, starts just after the T20 Blast in England and is based across the Caribean Islands. It is described as a carnival of cricket and watching it you can see why! It mixed the chilled out vibe of the Caribean with some big hitting cricket from some of th nations top stars.

It does not compete for players on the same level as the IPL but does get a decent amount of interest. This year tournament has Indian betting site 10Cric as its principal betting partner.

Big Bash – December 2019

Australia’s Big Bash is probably the second biggest league in the world, behind the IPL. Its also known as the KFC Big Bash League (BBL) and there is a women’s version called the Rebels WBBL.

2019’s event kicks off on December the 17th at the Gabba.

Pakistan Super League – February

This is one of the smaller leagues and runs in February and March each year. It does not have the hype or appeal of the IPL but is still a relatively good watch.

IPL April

The headline event of the T20 world! The IPL is the biggest, richest and the best league in the world. It takes place in March and April each year and has expanded to 10 teams for the 2019 event.

At Criketics we love the IPL and will be covering it – every stat, every game and full historical stats and results for each team.

T20 Blast – July

Also, know by the sponsors’ name as the “vitality T20 Blast” this event runs through the end of what is known as “summer” in the UK. There’s usually a lot of games called off for rain!

The event finishes in an awesome day of cricket known as “Finals Day” where the 2 semi-finals take place followed by the final under the floodlights.

ICC T20 World Cup – October 2020

2020 sees the ICC World Twenty 20 cup taking place in October and India are one of the favourites for the event. For this event, we will be looking at recent T20 international stats to gain some insight into the teams.

Starting on the 15th of October in Australia and climaxing in the final on the 15th of November. This looks set to be the biggest international T20 ever and we will be covering all the previous tournaments and stats nearer the time.
