The semi-finals of the T20 blast are here with finals day 2021 taking place on the 18th of September. Kent v Sussex is the second game of the day followed by the final. The first semi-final starts at 11 am UK time. This match is scheduled to take place at 2.30 UK time.
Sussex are the favorites in the betting to win this match.
Sussex qualified for the knockout stages in 3rd place in the group stages. They won 6 of their matches and had 5 no results. This was an uninspiring qualification from them. They were top of 4 teams who won 6 matches by virtue of getting 1 point for each no result.
Sussex had the lowest average runs of any team in the group stages and the lowers average against score. Again the lack of completed games will have impacted these stats.
From watching the group stages of the Vitality Blast the Cricketics team was not impressed by the Sussex team. They were fortunate to qualify and we would expect them to go out here.

Of the 4 teams remaining on finals day, Kent would be our selection the make the final and win the 2021 Blast trophy.
They qualified well with 9 wins from 14 and only 1 point from no results. They had the highest net run rate of any team.
Watching their matches they all seem to click together well and will pose a serious threat to Sussex in this match.
This is their first appearance on finals day in 12 years.

Sussex vs Kent Match Prediction
The semi-final will be a tense affair as it is a big day for both teams. Kent hasn’t been at finals day since 2009 so this is a big occasion for them.
All the Cricketics team thinks this will be a Kent win. They have too much for Sussex and as long as they play the team in front of them and not the occasion they will get the win.
Predicted result: Kent to win by 20+runs
