After a full series of games, the T20 Blast comes close to its climax with a doubleheader semi-finals day at Edgbaston on the 21st of September. The first semi-final sees the Nottingham Outlaws take on the Worcestershire Rapids. The match is set to start at 2.30 pm GMT and will be followed by the next semi-final for a place in the grand final.

However, this has been their most emphatic win of the tournament with most others being close affairs. They have also missed 3 matches due to the British weather and if I were having a bet on the outright market I would be leaning towards the Rapids. This is something I may look at live to see if I can get better odds on the Rapids between now and the event.

This market is for which team will the top-scoring batsman be on. It is a market that we are very interested in when it comes to cricket betting as we can see some real value here. It is more about picking a player who is in form rather than a team so you can see which players are in good nick with the bat. If I had to pick a player for the top batsman it would be Alex Hayles who had an impressive S/R of 176 in the quarter-finals. He can be backed at 3.4 to be the top batsman with a couple of companies.
Worcestershire Rapids Form
The Rapids also had a rather comprehensive win in the Quarter Finals of the T20 Blast winning by 8 wickets. They also chased down the total in under 18 overs but did lose 2 wickets along the way. This game looks like it could be a real spectacle of 20/20 batting with the potential for some really big scores. Worsecetshires form in the group stages was a little less emphatic with a mix of results from heavy defeats to the last ball wins. It was not until the knockout stages that they really found some form, like most of the last 4 teams.

Based on the batting performances of the two teams these odds really caught my eye for this game. 100’s are not that common in 20/20 cricket but we can see one in this game with some in-form batsman at the crease.
