On Sunday the Indian Premier League continues with another doubleheader. The first match starts at 3 pm India time. The Mumbai Indians face up against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sharjah cricket stadium in the UAE.
Although there is no in-person attendance the action hasn’t stopped. Fans have been treated to some of the best T20 cricket with this years IPL tournament living up to expectations.
The Mumbai Indians have already played 4 matches. A record of 2 wins and 2 losses will not go down well with last years beaten finalists. They can probably count themselves unlucky against RCB, eventually losing to them in the super over.
Nevertheless, if they are to compete for this years IPL trophy, its results that matter. A disappointing opening loss aginst CSK did nothing for their confidence. MI need to build on their last match, where they won convincingly against the KKR by 49 runs.
The SRH will be a stern test and we will really see how they are shaping up if they are to be in any chance of winning the Indian Premier League this year.
The Sunrisers have played 4 games so far. They lost their opening two matches and were not looking in great shape.
The signs looked ominous against the Delhi Capitals in their last match. The form and results all pointed to yet another disappointing result for SH however they dug deep to take victory by 15 runs in what could be a turning point in their battle for the tournament.
SH has some big hitters who really stepped up their performances against DC. Jonny Bairstow and David Warner looked like the T20 players we all know they can be however it was Rashid Khan who was ruthless with his bowling.
Against CSK the Sunrisers picked up yet another victory; surprising to some but the strength of the side is starting to show. Bairstow sadly didn’t score but he has plenty of help around him, meaning the Sunrisers can score from numerous batsmen.

The Sunrisers youngster was brought in after some impressive performances in the U19s. Garg has been instrumental so far Sunrisers Hyderabad fortunes in this tournament.
His determination with the bat has seen him contribute well and at times even outshining some of the more experienced batsmen at the Sunrisers disposal.
Against CSK Priyam Garg hit 51 from 26 balls, picking up 1 six and 6 fours. We think at these odds Garg can help us see a decent return on our stake.
TIP THREE – TEAM WITH TOP BATSMEN IN THE MATCH SRH (odds 1.90)
Although we expect a close match we again have searched and found some value with this particular market. The Sunrisers have individuals that can produce some big scores. Jonny Bairstow disappointed us all against CSK and he knows he can do better. Nevertheless, with the likes of David Warner, Manish Pandey and Priyam Garg the Sunrisers have all the firepower they need to not only win the match but have the team with the top batsmen come to the end.
