The IPL final is here! On Tuesday we will see last year’s champions Mumbai Indians take on the Delhi Capitals. These teams have met three times already and the Indians have perfumed well. The Capitals came through the knockout stages well after losing to the Indians in the first game.
Can the Capitals stop the relentless form of Mumbai Indians and take their first-ever IPL title? We will look at the form and odds and make our match predictions.

Tip 1 – Match Prediction – Dehli Capitals to win 10/11*
This has been a tough one to call for us and we are divided in the team of experts as to who to back. We settled on the odds for the Dehli Capitals at 10/11 as they are inviting odds for a final. The pressure will really be on Mumbai Indians to take back to back titles for the first time and that could be a heavyweight on them

These two teams have played each other a couple of times in the past two weeks and the Indians have come out on top. There hasn’t really been much pressure on them in these games compared to this match. When we look at the initial IPL 0dds for the tournament they have been the 6/1 favorites throughout. Even when the Capitals went to the top of the table Mumbai Indians were still the expected winners. This is a big task for the Capitals but we believe they have the strength and belief in the squad to take a historic victory.

Dehli Capitals threw a curveball in the last match starting with Stoinis as an opener with Dhawan and they seemed to work well together. We have seen Stoinis open in the Big Bash this year and do very well – the main surprise is that it took this long to get him there. Stoinis and Dhawan look a great paring at the top of the order with the experience and control of Dhawan paired beautifully with the explosive capabilities of Stoinis.
Tip 2 (long shot) – Sharma, de Kock, Dhawan & Iyer all to hit 3+ sixes 50/1*
This is a massive punt for the final! We’d need a high-scoring game but if we get one then there is a chance of this happening. At 50/1 we will only be putting a very small stake on this bet. This is available only with Betway via their #Betyourway markets.
Tip 3 (value bet) – Bumrah & Rabada to take a wicket 8/11*
These two are the top bowlers in the years IPL. Bumrah has taken 27 wickets in 14 matches and Rabada has taken 29 in 16 matches. For this bet to win they will both need to take at least one wicket. We think it would be more of a surprise if they didn’t take a wicket each.
