Tip 1 – Dehli Capitals to win the match 4/6
We cannot look past the Capitals for this match, even at 4/6 odds. In their last match, they ran a close game but just lost to the Mumbai Indians with 2 balls to spare. Prior to that, they had a comfortable win over the Royals winning by 46 runs after bowling the Royals out for 138. The main change for this match is the return of Royals cricket superstar Ben Stokes who could impact the game but we do not feel that will be enough to win the match for them.
In the reverse fixture of this match, the Capitals started okay but without really setting the match on fire. It was their explosive middle-order that did that. Stonis was his usual effective self, knocking 39 from 30 and Hetmyer was in fine form with 45 from just 24 balls. From the twenty overs, they finished with 184/8 which looked a solid score. Archer was the pick of the Royals bowlers with 3/24 from his six.
In the run chase, the Royals started well with Jaiswal and Smith most posting okay scores. Tewatia was the pick of the batsmen with 38 from 29 balls. The rest of the team didn’t really offer much with seven of the batsmen not even getting over six runs each which is just not good enough to win any match let alone chasing 185 to win. Rabada was the pick of the bowlers with 3/35 from 3.4 including the last wicket of the match.
Tip 2 – Rahul Tewatia to hit at least one six and take at least one wicket
Tewatia is one of the forms all-rounders of the IPL2020 so far, in our opinion. He’s been ferocious with the bat when he’s played and has had some outstanding innings further down the order.
