Match report
Day 1
Bangladesh starts off batting and has a torrid time against the Indian attack in the morning session. They go in for Lunch at 73/6 with one of the worst mornings plays we have seen. They could not handle the Indian bowlers!
In the afternoon session, the onslaught continued with Bangladesh being all out for 106 and India in to bet before tea. India also dropped some wickets and finished the day leading on 174/3 with Kohli still in, on 59 not out.
Day 2
India started the day well with Kohli continuing to score runs at a good speed. By lunch, India was on 289/4 and building a good lead. Kohli was still in, on 130 not out.
After lunch, and with the new ball, Bangladesh picked up some more wickets – including Koglis on 308/6. India kicked on from here and got to 347/9 before declaring to put Bangladesh in.
The poor performance of Bangladesh with the bat carried on in their second innings and they ended the day on 152/6.
Day 3
It felt like day 3 wasn’t really needed! It was already all over! Bangladesh managed to get to 195 when the last wicket fell leaving them on a loss an innings and 46 runs.
The first test of the series sees India take on Bangladesh on the 14th of November. India and the rest of the world would predict a series win and the odds are very low. Bangladesh is yet to win a series in India and that looks set to continue here.
We will be having our usual betting tips on each test as well as a few bets on the whole series before it starts. Read on to find our tips and where to bet or scroll down for the latest odds.
2nd Test Betting Tips
With the second test ready about to get underway we have seen a wide range of markets on offer for the test. As well as some standard bets we will be looking to Betway India to place some bets on the #BetYourWay markets. This gives us some great options for further value bets and ads to the game we are watching in our opinion.
#Betyourway tips
These bets can only be found on Betway India
- Tip 1 – India opening partnership to score over 50+ runs first innings
This is an excellent bet in our opinion, India showed in the first test that they are the strongest team here by far and are ready for this test. The opening partnership looks as solid as it has in years and a 50+ knock looks like a reasonable expectation at these odds.
For this bet to win we will need them to score 51 runs or more without losing a wicket. This market is only on Betway India. Click bet now above and then register and go to cricket betting. Go into this game and then tab to #Betyourway at the top to find this market.
- Tip 2 – Agarwal to score a century in the match 9/4
After smashing 243 in the last match this price seems generous for a man in form. His first-innings knock came at an SR of 76.3 showing the form he is in.
For this bet to win he can score a century or above in either inning – assuming India actually has to bat twice!
Standard tips
- Tip 3 – Jayed top Bangladesh bowler 12/5
This bet is available with numerous bookmakers, we have chosen to use 10Cric for this one as they had the best odds when we looked.
As the top bowler in the first match, this looks like a good price. Jayed should be full of confidence after taking 4 wickets in the match including Virat Kohli for a duck. The bookies still favor Hasan and Islam at shorter odds hence why we think this is the value bet for this match.
