No 2 – Betway Sports
So why Betway for cricket? Well, simply put – their site is excellent and mixes good odds with a wide range of markets and excellent visualizations. The current Betway India welcome bonus is a 100% matched first deposit up to ₹2,500. Betway has all the latest cricket games and the scores are always really up to date. They provide you with all the stats and scorecards for each game and allow live betting on almost all cricket markets. You can register and claim the bonus below.
Here’s how the match centre works on Betway Sports.
The main graphic shows what’s going on and who is bowling, with the current score above. We have checked and this is as live as watching the match on TV! Under the bowler, you will find their stats for the match so far. In this case, the bowler is B Kumar who has bowled 8 overs, conceded 32 runs and hasn’t taken a wicket. On the right, you see the current batting partnership with runs score and (balls faced).
The current run rate shows under that. The 6 white circles under the bowler represent that over and the outcome of the balls. Across the bottom, you can see the ball by ball review of the last 3 overs too. Without watching the game this is the best view of it that we have seen on any betting site. Betway is always innovating and making sure they are a market leader around the world for sports betting. There are other stats available on the match view as shown below.
Other stats are –
- Graph – See the innings and wickets on the popular graph view
- Scoreboard – Full scorecards for each team, batting, and bowling, updates live
- Commentary – See ball by ball commentary on major matches.
- Bails – Details of how each wicket fell, the bowler, fielder and a small write up on how the wicket came about.
Find a market
Under the match view, you can search by market name which no other company offers. If you have a specific bet you want on you can quickly find it through the search rather than scrolling through over 100 cricket markets.
#Betyourway If you want a cricket bet that you cannot see on the site you can go to Twitter and tweet on @betway to ask them to price your bet up. They will do all kinds of bets for you including match winners, top bowler, top batsmen, and other bets. Here is an example from the India v South Africa 3rd test.
We are sure you will think Betway is the place to bet on cricket once you have used them!
No 3 – 1xBet
Cricket fans will be pleased to know that there are more bookmakers to choose from and high on our list of cricket betting sites is 1xBet. This platform has a fantastic mobile sportsbook and our game is placed naturally in 1xBet main sports menu and can easily be found. Joining is as easy as any other bookmaker and they have an excellent bonus for new 1xbet customers. They are a fantastic option for any cricket fan looking to place a bet online.
Why is 1xBet good for betting on cricket?
1xBet is a long established bookmaker and with that comes the trust and pleasure of using their platform. Available as a desktop site app and mobile the interface is a joy to use. 1xBets cricket markets are excellent and cover all the major tournaments, test matches, and competitions. Here’s the 1xbet cricket betting home page
As one of the top-rated sites, 1xBet allows both in-play betting and cash out (explained below) making your bets fun and exciting as the action unfolds. Simply navigate to your chosen match and look through the list and decide what to bet on.

Here’s why I like 1xBet; There new customer free bet offer. It’s safe, secure and easy to use interface. Its ongoing promotions and fully loaded sportsbook including cricket.
No 4 – 22 Bet
22 bet is a more up and coming site that we will be watching closely for future developments. They offer cricket betting on both their desktop and mobile sites and have a good range of markets. The range is not quite as vast for the lesser events than the likes of 1o Cric or Betway hence their position in 4th on our list.
Pros of using 22 bet for cricket
- Good range of markets for major events
- Promotions offers on major events and Indian games
- Dedicated mobile site for all users
- Huge range of depositing options in India and Asia
- Lack of markets for lesser matches
- Lack of a bet builder facility
New customer offer
As you would expect there is a 22bet new customer bonus on offer. If you register an account with 22bet you willet a 100% bonus on your first deposit, as long as you use on of the specified depositing options.
There are different offers on for different options so if you want to deposit by bank transfer then there are different options to depositing by bitcoin, for example.
No 5 – Leo Vegas Sports
Leo Vegas have a dedicated Indian site. On their website they describe themselves as “the home of cricket betting” although this seems a bold statement. The site really lacks the look and usability of the others on the list and they seem a little behind in terms of their platform.
The main reason they appear on the cricket betting sites list is because of the ₹10,000 Leo Vegas welcome offer. This gives you extra winnings on your first bet up to a maximum of ₹10,000!
For us, when doing our review, there was a lack of prominence of cricket on the site. They didn’t have many markets and they seemed to focus more on football betting. There were no cricket stat or stats for other sports so whilst this remains they will remain at the bottom of this list!
How to bet on cricket
Once you’ve chosen your bookmaker and signed up to a new betting account with them you’ll want to then place some bets on cricket. Betting should be done responsibly and we can’t emphasize enough that you should bet within your means. Set yourself some limits and understand sometimes your bets will win and other times they’ll lose. We like to bet a bit of fun whilst watching a game of cricket.
The best cricket betting sites offer a whole range of ways to have a bet. These are known as markets. There are simple and easy to understand markets such as betting on who will win or who will lose. There are however other ways to place bets on this game.
Betting on the cricket – step by step using the best cricket betting sites
Let us take Betway for example. This bookmaker offers a huge sports book and cricket is easily accessible through their desktop version, mobile site or app. Once you’ve signed in and added funds to your betting account, simply choose Cricket from the menu and this will open up all of the available cricket matches for you to bet on.
Quite often if a game of cricket is being played you’ll see at the top of the screen the In Play market listed first. We’ve explained this in more detail further down the page, however, in a nutshell, it allows you to place bets on a cricket match whilst it’s being played out live.
Further down the cricket market listings, you’ll see all the different tournaments and matches available. All you have to do is find your bet form the list, for example, England to beat Australia in the next Ashes, or Lancashire to beat Yorkshire in their next Twenty20 Big Bash meeting.
If the odds take your fancy and appeal to you then select the odds by tapping or clicking on them and it will automatically be added to your bet slip which you can clearly see. You are also able to change how your odds are displayed. Some punters find seeing odds as decimals are easier than seeing them as fractions; this is a personal choice.
You can, of course, make further selections to add to your betslip. In this instance, you might want to bet on England winning a specific test but bet on Australia to win the series.
The more selections you add to your betslip, the higher the odds will be. The odds and possible returns as a win might seem attractive. Remember, however, the more selections you make the more difficult it will ultimately be to win the whole bet. As you have previously added funds to your betting account, you can then decide on what stake you want to place on your cricket bet. You can add this amount to the ‘stake’ field.
The platform will calculate all your odds and selections and will immediately display any returns should your bet win. If your happy click or tap on the place bet. As we alluded to before, make sure you bet within your means. Most, if not all, of the best online bookmakers for cricket function in the same manner.
You will find some bookmakers offer more cricket betting markets than others. As we have already mentioned the choice of bookie to use for cricket can be a personal thing and you don’t have to stick with just one platform.
Cricket betting Markets
We have shown you the best sites to bet on cricket and explained how to place a bet on this sport. Now let us guide you through the various cricket betting markets available. You don’t need to get swamped down in terminology. The best cricket betting sites want to make using their platforms as user-friendly as possible.
As we mentioned earlier when we explained to place a cricket, this market means that you can have a flutter on a particular cricket match whilst it is being played. The great thing about in play cricket betting is that can add tons more interest and excitement to the match you’re following or watching. Also, you can get a real feel of how individuals are performing and playing and as such make a judgment on where to place your cricket bet.
Our top rated site for in play cricket betting is Betway – You can see their live match centre below
Within the In-play option, you can really narrow down your selections. An example being you can bet on individual balls in an over; whether you think runs might be scored from a particular ball. You can choose the dismissal method of a player. Ideal if a spinner starts to the ball and the fielders close in. Maybe you fancy a catch in the slips. There are many other ways to bet whilst In Play and well worth checking out.
Not all bookmakers offer a cash option. This clever betting option allows you to place a bet and before the event has finished your bookmaker could offer you some or part of your winnings. If you decide to take the offer you ‘cash out’. Of course, this is great whilst betting in-play.
It means if you’ve placed a bet and your cricket match isn’t going exactly how you had predicted you may be able to at least get some winnings rather than losing the entire bet. However, if your bet goes on to eventually win, but you chose to cash out earlier then you do not get the full winnings. It’s often a great feature and great for sports viewers.
This is self-explanatory. Select this option and you’ll be presented with the many cricket tournaments or matches due to be played. For example the T20 bash or the IPL.
Here is an example of a cricket coupon taken from the 10 Cric site
Once you’ve chosen your cricket match to bet on you can select it from the menus within your bookmaker’s platform. By doing this you will open up a whole plethora of ways to bet on that particular contest. Most of them are very easy to understand.
You can choose who will Win outright, or which team will have the Highest run score. You’re able to focus your cricket bets even further and choose which team and which innings will be highest to score. Other options are which batsman, if any, will Score a fifty or century.
Quite often the choices seem limitless and if your an avid follower of sports stats and news you can choose your bets depending on player performances and form going into the matches.
How about placing your cricket bets on the will win the ‘bat flip’ in the T20 or which player will take most wickets in the ashes. We like to look for value with the bowlers and see what odds are offered on which player will take the most wickets in the second innings of a test match. Bets like these are great if you follow the in-form players.
There other cricket betting markets which you may have come across before but not know what they mean. Some of these markets don’t just limit themselves to cricket and are offered as bets on many other sports.
Draw no bet
The best cricket betting sites will offer this and it may seem confusing. In reality, it is very simple. The draw no bet market simply means that if you place this bet and the cricket match ends in a draw then you get your initial stake returned. You do need to take note of how it exactly works because it is not as simple as just having your stake returned.
This cricket market is different from choosing the outright winner of a cricket match. If you chose to bet on an outright winner and the other team won you understandably lose that bet. Withdraw, no bet you place a bet on who you think will win as well as draw no bet. Here’s a simple bet that we have created as an example;
Let’s take a cricket match between Australia vs India.
We can place a bet on Australia to win and if India wins the bet is lost. We can place a bet on Australia to win/draw no bet. If Australia wins you can collect your winnings. If the match ends in a draw you can get your stake back. If India wins the bet is lost. Draw no bet can be used to add some ‘protection’ to your bet as there can be 3 possible outcomes and this market offers returns on 2 of the outcomes.
You may be thinking this sounds too good to be true. The downside of this market is that the odds are somewhat lower than the traditional who will win betting market. That’s not to say there aren’t some good returns to be found. It’s a nice market if you like to play the percentages and you’re possibly not 100% on who will win or the cricket match is too close to call.
Here’s another betting term you may have heard of. In cricket betting this possible because again there are 3 possible outcomes. Where Draw no bet allows your stake to be refunded when the match is drawn the Double chance bet allows you 2 chances of winning.
Let’s take another example to better explain the cricket double chance bet.
England vs South Africa
You place a bet on South Africa to win. If South Africa win then clearly your bet wins. If England wins or the match ends in a draw the bet loses. The double chance bet means you can choose 2 of the 3 possible outcomes. So you can select England or South Africa to win.
If either team wins then your bet wins if the match ends in a draw you lose your bet. Here are the three possible bets in this instance; Double chance bet 1 – England win South Africa Win Double chance bet 2 – England Win, Match drawn Double chance bet 3 – South Africa Win, Match drawn Again on the face of it, this seems a very attractive bet.
However the odds offered will be significantly lower, as a double chance, than betting on individual winners, losers or a draw. The bookies see the punter as having a significantly higher chance of winning, which is fair enough. However like the draw no bet market it adds a little more protection to your cricket bet.
Quite often the betting sites that offer cricket will have any number of options to create some really interesting accumulator bets and cricket fans looking at this will find a whole range of markets to suit their betting needs.
Which cricket tournaments are available for you to bet on?
Cricket is enjoyed across the globe and although regarded as a summer sport in many European countries, it can be found on TV and online through streaming channels, including the bookmakers. In the UK cricket is played at county level with a few different formats. The Twenty20 bash under floodlights is an exciting, quick and often big scoring cricket festival. Seemingly created to add more excitement than traditionally slower matches.
The best cricket betting sites offer all of your favorite markets on the Twenty20 and are great to get involved with some In-play betting. This format isn’t only played in the UK and there are some exciting fixtures including a world cup. One day internationals are always a great spectacle with some big hitters and the fast pace makes for often some much-anticipated cricket.
There are also many test matches throughout the year played across the world. England, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand all compete to the highest cricket standards and there are always betting markets available. Some bookmakers offer live streaming as part of their service, so if there are cricket fixtures you can’t get to watch on TV it maybe well worth signing up to one of the best cricket betting sites with live streaming to make sure you don’t miss a ball.
Other betting sites that offer cricket
There are many other bookmakers that offer a cricket betting market. Coral, Bet Victor, and Paddy Power are all huge names in the industry. They offer varying betting services and if you’re looking for something different from our best cricket betting sites list then why not check one of these out.
